Holiday destination
You'll find a plethora of hiking options with us, ranging from leisurely strolls to ascending alpine pastures in the mid-altitudes, or even climbing three-thousand-meter peaks. A classic is, of course, the Adolf Munkel Trail along the Geisler peaks (World Heritage Site) in the Villnöss Valley. This hiking trail is simply beautiful... you must walk it!
The Villanderer Alm is also very popular, offering a magnificent panorama and being a rather flat high plateau. Of course, the famous Seiser Alm (with Kastelruth, home of the Kastelruther Spatzen) is a major attraction, quickly accessible by car.
Worth visiting: the artists' town of Klausen, the Loretto treasure in Klausen, Säben Abbey...
Getting there
Exit the highway at Klausen, at the roundabout (Brunnerhof) turn right, then left towards Klausen. Do not drive into the center, but continue straight ahead. A short distance after the tunnel, you will see the sign "Villanders" on the right. It's a winding road upwards. After the village center (Gasthaus/Hotel Schwarzer Adler), turn right towards Barbian. Follow this road for 2.3 km and then turn left, continuing towards Barbian/Dreikirchen. After about 300m past the first farm on the right, turn right directly at the curve, the next farm is the Koanzhof. Welcome to our place!

Lieber Robert,
die Ferienwohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet und hatte alles was man braucht. Ein besonderes Highlight war die grandiose Aussicht von der Terrasse zum Schlern, sowie die Gestaltung des Badezimmers mit dem Heuaroma.
Ebenso einmalig ist Deine Art, Deine Gäste herzlich und fröhlich zu begrüßen und dafür zu sorgen, dass es einem an nichts fehlt und man sich willkommen fühlt. Der Brot- und Semmelservice ist auch hervorragend. Täglich erwartete einem ein Korb mit frischem Gebäck für's Frühstück.
Hinzu kommt, dass die Umgebung zum Wandern wunderschön ist und die Dolomiten schnell zu erreichen sind. Zur Villanderer Alm sind es mit dem Auto nur wenige Minuten.
Insgesamt haben wir und sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke für diesen schönen Urlaub.

Lieber Robert,
Es ist schwer dich und Koanznhof in Worte zu fassen, ihr seid ein unfassbares Phänomen!
Wir sind bei dir angekommen und das erste was ich sah war diese gigantische Aussicht auf die Berge und so gigantisch war auch dein Herz und deine Ausstrahlung!
Dann ging es weiter. In der liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung roch es herrlich nach Holz, Blick vom Balkon unbezahlbar. Abends konnte man sich mit dir und anderen Feriengästen treffen, an dieser Stelle, ganz lieben Gruß an Christine und Klaus!,bei einem Marillenlikörchen über Luis Trenker-Witze lachen, den Kuhglocken lauschen, Katzen und Hunde streicheln,selbstvergessen die Dolomiten anschauen und entspannen.
