Snowshoe hiking on the Villanderer Alm
Holiday destination
Villanders is a sunny mountain village situated at approximately 800m above sea level, perched above the artist's town of Klausen. Here, you can experience the beauty and untouched nature up close. You'll be drawn up to the very popular Villanderer Alm or, along the many well-marked hiking trails, you'll find yourself pausing to enjoy the magnificent views of the Langkofel, Schlern, Rosengarten, and other monumental mountain giants. We are not far from the Geisler peaks and the Dolomite massif, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Villanders is very popular in autumn as a Törggele destination, and in winter, the Villanderer Alm is ideal for tobogganing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
On the opposite side of our valley lies Kastelruth, the home of the Kastelruther Spatzen.
Getting there
Leave the motorway at the Klausen/Chiusa exit. At the roundabout (Brunnerhof), go down on the left and then turn right towards Klausen. Do not drive into the center, but go straight ahead. Then turn left towards Villanders. The road winds its way up. In Villanders, after the Gasthof/Hotel Adler, turn right towards Barbian. Follow this road for 2.3 km and then turn left, continuing towards Barbian/Dreikirchen. After about 300 m, after the 1st farm on the right, turn right directly at the curve. The next farm is the Koanzhof. Welcome to our place!

Wir waren im August 12 Tage bei Robert.Als wir eine Unterkunft in Südtirol gesucht hatte und wir auf Robert seine Wohnung gestoßen sind,haben wir natürlich auch seine Bewertungen angesehen ,und wir dachten :da müssen wir hin das passt genau zu uns,Robert müssen wir kennen lernen:gesagt getan ,und was sollen wir sagen es war einfach genial ,nicht nur die Traumkulisse von der Ferienwohnung auf die Dolomiten,sondern vor allem der immer gut gelaunte und vor allem von Herzen lustiger Robert ,was hatten wir Spaß mit ihm und auch mit den anderen Gästen vom Haus bei einem oder mehrere Gläschen Marillenlikör,es war einer der schönsten Urlaube die wir je hatten.Danke Robert!das war der Jackpot bei dir!wir sehn uns mit Sicherheit wieder .Lg Gianni und Monika mit Balou

Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung für 2 (+1) Personen im ersten Stock. Sie war sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da, was man braucht, sehr sauber und ein phantastischer Blick vom Esstisch aus auf die Dolomiten.
Die zwei Balkone laden zum draußen sitzen ein und gehen in verschiedene Richtungen, so dass man immer entweder Sonne oder Schatten hat, je nach Wunsch. Robert ist ein sehr freundlicher und geselliger Mensch, bei dem man es gut aushalten kann. Jeden Morgen gab es auf Wunsch die frischen Brötchen direkt vor der Wohnungstür im Brotkorb nett angerichtet. Die Ruhe auf dem etwas abgelegenen Hof ist sehr erholsam. Mit dem Auto oder auch zu Fuß kann man in wenigen Minuten bis zu einer halben Stunde die nächsten Ortschaften erreichen. Auf dem Hof gibt es Katzen, Hühner und Fliegen. Auch der Hund war herzlich willkommen.
