Holiday destination
Villanders is a sunny mountain village at about 800m above sea level and is situated above the artist town of Klausen. Here you will experience the beauty and untouched nature up close.
Whether you're drawn to the very popular Villanderer Alm or along the many well-marked hiking trails, you will find yourself pausing time and again to enjoy the magnificent views of Langkofel, Schlern, Rosengarten, and other monumental mountain giants. After all, we are not far from the Geisler peaks and the Dolomite massif, a World Heritage Site.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Klausen/Chiusa. At the roundabout (Brunnerhof), turn left and then right towards Klausen. Do not drive into the center, but go straight ahead. Then turn left towards Villanders. The road winds its way upwards.
In Villanders, after the Gasthof/Hotel Adler, turn right towards Barbian. Follow this road for 2.3 km and then turn left, continuing towards Barbian/Dreikirchen. After about 300 m past the first farm on the right, turn right directly at the curve. The next farm is the Koanzhof. Welcome to our place!

Aussicht spektakulär. Wohnung für uns zwei perfekt. Sauberkeit top. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Garage als Stellplatz (Passen drei Autos rein). Robert ein herzlicher Gastgeber der alles dafür macht, das seine Gäste einen perfekten Urlaub haben. Ob Likör, frische Eier etc. oder auch ein lustiges und lehrreiches Gespräch über das Land und seine Vielfalt. Danke für einen ersten tollen Urlaub in Südtirol. Und Gruß an den Hahn. Wir geben 10 Sterne

Hallo Stefanie un d Timo, Danke für vielen netten Komplimente. Mit Gästen zu reden mache ich sehr gerne ,wenn mir etwas einfällt. Es war auch mir recht Euch manchmal zu treffen, um zu plauttern. Eine Ferienwohnung wie diese hatten wir noch nie bei unseren Urlauben. Man weiß gar nicht, wo man anfangen soll mit der Beschreibung....
Der Wahnsinnsblick vom Balkon ist nicht zu toppen. Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war perfekt. Aber vor allem Robert, der Vermieter , hat uns mit seiner herzlichen und lieben Art völlig überrascht.
Seine Gastfreundschaft verdient mindestens 10 Sterne. Egal ob es die liebevoll drapierten Frühstücksbrötchen, sein Marillenlikör oder die leckeren Birnen sind, mit denen er uns versorgt hat, einfach Spitze. Und nicht zu vergessen seine Gesangseinlage :-)
Wenn uns der Weg nochmal nach Südtirol führt, kommen wir sehr gerne wieder zum Koanzhof.
Es gibt sicher stylischere Wohnungen, aber in kaum einer wird man mit soviel Herzlichkeit empfangen.
