If you cancel within 10 days after we send you the booking contract, we will refund you the Initial Deposit. If you cancel 60 days before Arrival Date we will reserve ourselves the right to retain the Initial Deposit, whilst if you cancel 30 days prior to the Arrival Date, we will reserve ourselves the right to retain the Initial Deposit and the Settlement. Please understand that as booking are normally made many months on forehand, in these circumstances we will be able refund the Initial Deposit and Settlement payment (less any additional costs incurred) to you only if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property for the same period for which you had booked.

    You can make nice walks in the private countryside of the owner’s relatives, go biking through the typical rural villages, go riding in a nearby stables or go swimming in Grado.
    Holiday destination
    The small village of Strassoldo is part of the "Most beautiful villages of Italy". The historical centre cradles two twin castles: the Upper castle and the Lower castle. The Upper castle is formed by the main building surrounded by several ancient buildings, by beautiful gardens and spring water rivers All around there are the lovely Friulian plains with vineyards, good restaurants, ancient sites to visit and the beach and lagoon of Grado is quite near.
    Getting there
    By plane: the nearest airports are Trieste (18 km) and Venice (70 km). By car: From the border with Austria (Kaernten) take A23 highway towards Venice and at the crossing towards Trieste take the A4 highway and then take the exit of Palmanova. From Venice: take the highway A4 direction Trieste and then the exit Palmanova. After taking the exit of Palmanova turn right in direction Cervignano-Grado and after 3 km you will see the sign with indication "Strassoldo". The castle complex is in the heart of the village.

    Nachdem ich mit einer Freundin und Hund eine Woche in der Wohnung Vicinio im Castello verbrachte, sind wir nun in di Pileria umgezogen, weil unsere Familien angereist sind. Alle Wohnungen im Castello di Strassoldo sind empfehlenswert und ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Die Pileria hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Fotos sind realistisch. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind liebevoll restauriert und sauber. In den Gemeinschaftsräumen steckt in jeder Ecke Geschiche zum Anfassen. Ein Urlaub hier ist ein Traum und sehr empfehlenswert für Familien/Gruppen, die ein besonderes Ambiente und Ruhe genießen wollen - abgesehen vom gleichmäßigen Rauschen der Mühle, das ich gerade höre, während ich diese Zeilen im grünen Zimmer am Sekretär schreibe ;-) So schön hier! Top aus Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Wir kommen wieder.

    Ein Urlaub im Schloss Strassoldo ist wirklich Erholung pur. Die schöne, geschmackvolle und saubere Unterkunft. Der traumhafte Garten. Das beruhigende Rauschen des Baches. Die herzliche Vermieterin und ihre lieben Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr hilfsbereit. Im Ort gibt es gute Restaurants und auch einen kleinen Supermarkt. Strassoldo liegt sehr günstig, um von hier aus die Gegend zu erkunden. Naturliebhaber und Liebhaber der italienischen Kultur kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Auch unsere erwachsenen Kinder (18/20) waren sehr begeistert. Wir können es nur empfehlen.
