The villa is located in Sassorosso, one of the most characteristic villages of Garfagnana, in the Orecchiella Natural Park.
It is a village of ancient origins, once inhabited by shepherds, perched on the top of a small mountain from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Apuan Alps and the nearby Pania di Corfino.
Sassorosso is famous for its red marble, which is used to build the village's houses. It is an enchanting, quiet place that takes us back to ancient times.
The ideal place for those who want to spend a relaxing stay surrounded by nature in an enchanting atmosphere.
The next village with shops is only 1500 meters away and can be reached on foot.
A larger selection of shops, various services and restaurants can be found in Castiglione di Garfagnana (7 km) or in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (12 km).
Opportunities for sporting activities such as tennis and horse riding can be found in the surrounding area, and the Garfagnana Golf Club is 7 kilometers away.

Ein super Haus auf mehreren Ebenen. Schöner Ausblick und Pool.
Wermutstropfen- der 90m Anstieg zum Objekt und das damit verbundene Schleppen der Koffer und Einkäufe.
Auch sollte in der Preislage internationales Fernsehen via Satellit ermöglicht werden. Ein Gemeinschaftsfernseher in der Wohnstube und dann nur mit ital.Sendern ist zu wenig. In einer Gruppe sind diesbezüglich verschiedene Interessen.
Bei Ausflügen von diesem Objekt muss man unbedingt mehr Zeit einplanen,da man ja erst mal aus dem Gebirge raus muss!
Trotzdem war es ein schöner Urlaub in einem typischen Bergdorf in der Toscana !
