Located between a traditional farm house and a refurbished barn, the two-story holiday home Walnuss was created in a space that originally functioned as the carpenter's workshop and hayloft.
Building the holiday home, greatest attention was given to sustainable materials and individual design. Behind the building's facade lays a unexpectedly spacious and cosy atmosphere that evokes an immediate sense of peace and silence.
However, the nostalgic charm does not suffer the loss of modern convenience and comfort: a modern stainless steel and fully equipped kitchen, as well as two bathrooms - one with jaccuzi bath - ensure a relaxed stay. And when it gets really cold, you may curl up in front of the original fireplace.
Possible on request: food shopping prior to your arrival, driving a tractor (yourself), and renting bicycles.

It is only 10min from the picturesque village Amelsen to a major forest, the nature reserve Solling-Vogler. The river Weser and the mountain Harz are not far either. The city of Dassel, only a few kilometers from Amelsen, has a tradition as a climatic spa. There are a number of small but worthwhile locations nearby.
The city of Einbeck, about 9 km away, impresses visitors not only through its beer but also through its medieval studwork houses. One of Einbeck's highlights - especially for motorbike and oltimer enthusiasts - is a recently opened museum: the PS-Speicher.
The picturesque land scape invites for cycling, horse riding, hiking, motorbiking, jogging, barbecues, celebrating, playing, or simply relaxing and getting a good sleep.
Via car on the A7, take exit Northeim/Einbeck and continue on the B3 toward Einbeck and Stadtoldendorf respectively, driving through Kohnsen and Vardeilsen before arriving at Amelsen.
Coming from the West, you pass Beverungen and driven through the Solling via Dassel, Eilensen and Deitersen before reaching Amelsen.

21 – 12 Tage vor Mietbeginn: 80 % des Mietpreises
11 Tage vor Mietbeginn – Mietbeginn: 90 % des Mietpreises
Ein Rücktritt hat zudem schriftlich zu erfolgen.
Der Vermieter kann die gebuchte Leistung ohne Angabe von Gründen bis 46 Tagen vor Anreise stornieren. Bereits geleistete Zahlungen werden dem Gast dann in voller Höhe zurückerstattet. Auch eine spätere Aufhebung des Vertrags ist im Falle von höherer Gewalt oder anderer unvorhersehbarer Umstände, die den gebuchten Aufenthalt unmöglich machen, zulässig.
In diesem Fall beschränkt sich die Haftung auf die Rückerstattung des Mietpreises. Bei berechtigtem Rücktritt entsteht kein Anspruch des Gastes auf Schadensersatz. Eine Haftung für Reise- und Hotelkosten ist ebenfalls ausgeschlossen.
