Holiday destination
The centre of Lenggries with its various shopping facilities and restaurants, outdoor pool and the "Erlebnisbad Isarwelle"(indoor pool): a 5 minutes walk Shorter walks or longer hikes start directly by the house. Destinations : the nearby situated mountains Denkalm, Seekar and Geierstein, the Brauneck on the other side of the valley. Further away the Jachenau, Sylvenstein lake. Several cross country ski runs, a large skiing region at the Brauneck (all levels of difficulty).
Getting there
By train Lenggries has got a station, distance 1,5km from the house by plane Munich airport , ditance to Lenggries about 80km by car Lenggries is situated 60km in the south of Munich from the town hall of Lenggries along Geiersteinstr., after about 300m you turn half right into Oberreitetweg, after 250m you reach House Winkler, Am Reiterbach 2, on the right side

Wir kommen nun seit mehreren Jahren nach Lenggries und haben diesmal drei Wochen die Ferienwohnung Haus Winkler gebucht. Die Jahre zuvor kamen wir immer zu zweit, nun hatten wir erstmals unseren kleinen Sohn dabei. Das große Doppelbett hat wunderbar für uns drei gereicht. Lieberweise wurde uns trotzdem ein Kinderreisebett angeboten. Der große Garten mit Blick auf die Berge ist für uns immer wieder ein Highlight. Wir lieben die große und super ausgestattete Küche mit gemütlicher Sitzecke, in die morgens die Sonne scheint. Die Ferienwohnung bietet viel Raum für gemeinsame Erholung. Besonders lieben wir die fußläufige Nähe zu diversen Almen und Wanderwegen. Bäcker, Supermärkte und andere Geschäfte sind ebenfalls alle fußläufig erreichbar. Für uns sehr wichtig, da so mehr Erholung aufkommt. Wir kommen wieder.
