The village of Bellwald offers unbelievably beautiful places to ski, diverse hiking routes and demanding challenges for climbers. There's also Nordic walking, downhill mountain biking on the new downhill course, mini golf and scooters.
The Aletsch arena isn't far away and features the world-famous glacier that you shouldn't leave without seeing.
By car: Keep heading towards Brig. Shortly before you reach Brig, take the bypass towards Furka. When you reach Fürgangen (approx. 2 km after leaving Fiesch), take a left into the road that leads towards Bellwald.
By train: Head to Brig, then change to an MGB (Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn) train that will take you to Fürgangen. Take the funicular to Bellwald direct from Fürgangen railway station. 5 minutes' walk to the chalet.
