Miami Playa is a location right by the sea and still spared from mass tourism, as there are hardly any hotels, but only villas and apartments with long sandy beaches. Nestled between the sea on one side and mountains on the other, it is very family-friendly.
By car from the Spanish border towards Barcelona, then towards Tarragona, continue on the AP7 until salida (exit) 36 Cambrils and then about 13 km further on the N-340 or the A7 until directly to Miami Playa.
