Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located in Buhlenberg, at the edge of Hunsrück-Hochwalf National Park. Award-winning hiking trails and idyllic loops invite you for walks in and around Hochwald, in the Black Forest. Our attractive Mittelgebirge landscape between Mosel (Bernkastel) and Nahe (Idar-Oberstein), as well as the route with castle and shale in the Hunsrück Mountains, offers you varied excursions and diverse sights. We will gladly send you more information about our region!
Getting there
Travelling from Kaiserslautern to Landstuhl interchange on A62 to exit Birkenfeld. In Birkenfeld, after about 700 m take Trierer Straße on the left at the first intersection. At the end, via intersection to Buhlenberg. Travelling from Koblenz, Hunsrückhöhenstraße, B327, Morbach, left onto B269 towards Birkenfeld. Just before Birkenfeld, turn right towards Buhlenberg at the 'Alten Eiche' ('Old Oak'). Travelling from Mainz - B41 - Bad Kreuznach, Idar-Oberstein to exit Birkenfeld, follow the main road to the light. Take a right, after about 150 m left towards Brücken. After about 150 m, right towards Buhlenberg. Coming from Trier or Saarbrücken, take the A1 to interchange Nonnweiler, exit Otzenhausen, towards Sötern/Türkismühle. After about 4 km, left towards Birkenfeld. In Brücken, second intersection left towards Buhlenberg.

Kindersichere Wohnung, super Betten, entspannter Schlaf, gute Ausstattung, sehr herzliche Vermieter mit wunderschönem Garten. Spielplatz direkt nebenan, schöne Umgebung, für dessen Erkundung ein Auto allerdings gut ist.

Ich kann die Ferienwohnungen der Familie Hinz nur weiterempfehlen. Wir wurden herzlich und freundlich empfangen, die Wohnung (Salvia) war sauber, hochwertig eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Vor allem der Garten ist ein echtes Juwel, hier gibt es viel Platz, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Ferienwohnung liegt im beschaulichen Buhlenfeld im Nationalpark, man kann verschiedene Wanderrouten von der Haustüre aus beginnen. Eine klare Empfehlung!
