the island of Mainau, the pile dwellings in Unteruhldingen, the Affenberg in Salem, the monastery of Birnau, the Seelife in Constance, the Bregenz Festival with a stage in the lake.

Via the A96 exit Lindau, then drive towards Bodolz. Drive past Bodolz (stay left) then onto Bettnauer Street. On leaving Bodolz, it is only 1 km to Bettnau.
Or from FN on the B31, drive along Lake Constance to Wasserburg (through Kreßbronn on the old B31) turn off to Hochsträß, up on the mountain turn left towards Bettnau, take the first street on the right, follow the street up, then straight along a gravel road.
