Getting there
By car:
The island can be reached from the mainland via Strelasund by one of two bridges.
From Hamburg/Lübeck/Rostock
From the A 1 via the Lübeck cloverleaf interchange onto the A 20 Baltic Sea Autobahn to the Stralsund/Insel Rügen exit. Then continue over the feeder road (B 96 n) and the Stralsund bypass to the island of Rügen.
From Berlin
Take the A 24 to the Wittstock three-way interchange, onto the A 19 to the Rostock cloverleaf interchange, and from there on the A 20 towards Stralsund or via the A 11 to the Uckermark cloverleaf interchange. From there, take on the A 20 towards Stralsund.
By train:
The train offers ICE/IC connections to Rügen - directly to Bergen on Rügen and the Baltic resort of Binz.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sofort wohlgefühlt. Sie war sauber und ordentlich was man nicht immer so vorfindet. Trotz dieser großen Anlage liegt die Wohnung eher ruhig und auch nicht mittendrin was uns gut gefallen hat. In den Betten haben wir auch gut geschlafen. Der Tiefgaragenstellplatz ist auch schön groß, was will man mehr. Für 2025 haben wir auch schon gebucht.

Wir haben als Familie mit zwei Kindern (7 und 11) eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Der Vermieter war freundlich und flexibel, sodass wir unsere Anreise und Abreise noch um ein paar Tage verschieben konnten.
Die Wohnung selbst hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen. Durch ihre Lage weiter weg vom Treppenhaus und den Fahrstühlen war sie sehr ruhig. Dank Nähe zum Strand konnten wir bei geöffnetem Fenster mit Meeresrauschen schlafen. Das Schwimmbad war sauber und warm. Es wurde überwiegend von Kindern mit Begleitung benutzt und nicht selten waren wir die einzigen. Die Woche hat uns sehr gefallen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub!
