Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is located in Sarreguemines, a picturesque small French town in the northeast of Lorraine, right on the border with Saarland (20 km south of Saarbrücken). The town is known for its once lucrative ceramic production. Sarreguemines has a lot to offer culturally: music festivals like St. Paul, street theater and jazz days, markets, the dialect festival "mir redde platt," and especially the Saarland Therme in Hanweiler-Kleinblittersdorf, just 5km away, are definitely worth a visit!
Getting there
Sarreguemines is easily accessible both by train (fast connection between Sarreguemines and Strasbourg) and by the Saarbahn, which runs every half hour from Saarbrücken.
By car, it's about a 25-minute drive from Saarbrücken (via the B51 or the L105).

Ich hatte ein ( 5- Freunde aus uralten Zeiten) - Wochenende in Sarreguemines und wir haben zusammen bei Frau Adam und ihren Töchtern gewohnt. Die Wohnung ist groß und gemütlich, die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet, 3 Schlafzimmer individuell ausgestattet, das Bad groß und modern, derGarten ein Traum.
Die Atmosphäre im Haus ist herrlich unkompliziert und sehr sehr angenehm.
Frau Adam ist eine total nette Gastgeberin, kennt sich aus, gibt gute Tips, ich kann nicht genug schwärmen.
Für alle Frankreichfans , die ein paar schöne Tage in dem sehr charmanten Städtchen Sarreguemines verbringen wollen, ist die Ferienwohnung der Fam Adam die absolute TOP-Adresse.
Wir kommen wieder.

Ich kann mich den bisherigen positiven Bewertungen nur anschliessen: toll ausgestattete, grosse Wohnung (wir waren 7 Erwachsene, 2 Kleinkinder und ein Hund, und hatten prima Platz); die Gastgeberin und ihre Toechter waren superfreundlich, hilfreich und entgegenkommend, und wir hatten trotz mittelfreundlichen Winterwetters reichlich Gelegenheit, Dinge zu unternehmen.
Eine zweite Toilette waere in der Tat gut, aber die ist in Arbeit, soweit ich weiss, insofern schon vorab "volle 5" auch fuer die Ausstattung. Jederzeit gerne wieder!
