Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is located in the charming village of Basedow, home to a castle, church, the idyllic Lenné Park, and several cafés and restaurants.
The surrounding area is ideal for cycling tours through rolling hills and past lakes and villages. Malchin with its shopping facilities is easily accessible.
Nature lovers will find beautiful places for swimming, paddling, and relaxing at Lake Malchin and Lake Kummerow. A trip to Waren/Müritz is worthwhile for anyone who wants to combine culture with a visit to the Müritz National Park.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from the North, Basedow is about 30 minutes from the A19 (exit Güstrow/Teterow).
Coming from the South, Basedow about 30 minutes from the A 19 (exit Linstow).
You can park directly in front of the house.
By train:
The nearest train station is in Malchin (approx. 7 km away). From there, you can reach the house by taxi or bicycle.
From Berlin, it’s only about 1 hour to Waren station. From there, you can travel by taxi or bicycle or be picked up by the host (for a fee).
Tip: a car or bicycle is recommended to explore the surrounding area ( e.g. castle, lakes, bikes, hiking trails).
