Cancellation policy
The lessor will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of cancellation by the lessee:
cancellation more than 3 months prior to the start of the rental period: 50 euro.
cancellation 60-90 days prior to the start of the rental period: 25% of the rent.
cancellation 30-59 days prior to the start of the rental period: 50% of the rent.
cancellation less than 30 days prior to the start of the rental period: 100% of the rent.
There will be no refunds of any amount if the lessee does not use the holiday home or departs before the end of the rental period.

Holiday destination
The apartment is located in Birgu (Vittoriosa) which forms part of "The Three Cities". It is also known as Birgu derived from "Borgo" the Mediterranean term for a coastal village under the shelter of a fort or castle.
It was the headquarters of the Order of the Knights of St John and is home to several historical buildings, among which auberges of the knights, the imposing Inquisitor's Palace, Scamp’s Palace and the ex-British naval bakery, nowadays hosting the Maritime Museum.
Several wine bars and restaurants are located on the marina promenade and in the center of Birgu, all within walking distance of the apartment!
Public transport (by bus or water-taxi) to Valletta and other places is available close to the apartment.

We arrived on the 24th. Because many shops were closed, the owner's brother was kind enough to provide us with eggs, milk, bread, and ham. The apartment is fully equipped with everything needed, and the 4 of us were very comfortable. The marina location is lovely and convenient, with several good restaurants right at your feet. We tried and liked several of them (except "Tate"). The ferry to Valletta is also a few steps away. Very convenient. When we needed a taxi, the building attendant called a wonderful driver, Keith, who also took us back to the airport. Everyone is kind and helpful. My only minor complaint is a suggestion to add a few pillows, with washable covers, to the sofa. We borrowed the bedroom pillows, but they are thin and can't be washed, which felt unsanitary. Otherwise, great apartment!

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Birgu verbracht. Ferienwohnung liegt sehr günstig, man braucht kein Auto. Alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Der Blick aufs Meer ist einfach gigantisch. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und alles war super gewesen. Jederzeit wieder.
