Approximately 12km away lies the authentic town of Barbate with its fishing and marina. Near El Palmar is the 'La Brenia' Natural Park, scented with pines and wild herbs, inviting for extensive walks.
The Costa de la Luz is easily accessible by all means of transport, the infrastructure has greatly improved in recent years, and the A-48 (E-5) motorway has just been extended to Vejer de la Frontera. There are a total of three airports within a good travel distance (google maps)
