Holiday destination
Ideal starting point for exploring the still unspoiled Western Sicily. Arrival by ferry via Palermo and Trapani or with Airberlin and Ryanair to Palermo and Trapani. Excursions to the Aegadian Islands Favignana, Marettimo, Levanzo by ferry (300m). Trip to the medieval town of Erice by cable car (4km). Excursion to Segesta, temple and theater (43km). Visits to wineries in the area and to Marsala (30 km). Trips to the nature reserves Parco dello Zingaro near Scopello, the Isole dello Stagnone di Marsala, and the salt pans with windmills in Trapani. Hiking in the nature reserve on and around Monte Cofano. Numerous sandy beaches in the area (on foot and by bicycle). Sightseeing and excursions to Palermo and Monreale. Fish and farmers market in Trapani (300m).
Getting there
By car across the country, ferry from Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia, or Naples to Palermo or Trapani. By plane with Airberlin and Ryanair to Palermo or Trapani. By train via Palermo to Trapani station.

Host informationWe live in Germany, have been married for over 20 years, and have 2 adult children who are currently studying. I, Flavia, am a Northern Italian, a translator, and also run a campsite on Lake Maggiore on the side. My husband is German and a freelance architect. We love Sicily and the warm and hospitable people there. We ourselves spend several weeks a year in Sicily and live in an apartment next door. When we are on site, we are happy to provide personal advice and tips (if desired) to make your stay as interesting and enjoyable as possible.

Die Wohnung ist neu renoviert und geschmackvoll mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Da fühlt man sich eher wie zu Hause als in einer Ferienwohnung. Die Küche ist groß und komplett ausgestattet. Essen mit Meerblick ist hier das Motto. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer liegen zur Strasse und verfügen über kleine Balkone. Das Bad ist ebenfalls neu mit toller Dusche und Fußbodenheizung. Geniale Lage mit direktem Zugang zur alten Stadtmauer am Meer. Zwei Blocks zum Stadtzentrum sind ebenfalls keine Entfernung. Dort kann man die Abende in einem der Restaurants oder Bars ausklingen lassen. Direkt im Nebengebäude ist ein kleiner ""Tante Emma Laden" für die kleinen Dinge des täglichen Bedarfes. Fazit: Wirklich tolle Wohnung, absolut empfehlenswert.

Die Wohnung ist der Hammer! Sehr gepflegt und toll eingerichtet. Neu renovierte Altstadtwohnung mit genialen, alten Steinböden. Direkter Zugang von Küche zum Meer bzw. Stadtmauer, die direkt ans Meer runterführt ( 15 sec ). Stylisches Bad, riesiges, gemütliches Doppelschlafzimmer. Zu Fuss in zwei Minuten im Zentrum der Altstadt von Trapani. Sehr netter Kontakt im Haus. Schade, sind wir nur fünf Nächte geblieben !
