Maria Alm is one of the most famous villages of this area. It's a cozy little Austrian village, located 850 metres high. Hinterthal is situated on approx. 1000 m height and 200 metres from skibahn maximum corn railway and the hiking area.

Several visits values are the Krimmler waterfalls, white Lake glacier-Uttendorf, summer tobogganing in Saalfelden, the Nockalm road, the Mozart city of Salzburg, the Eisriesenwelt in Werfen, Berchtesgaden, hikes to many Alpine and mountain huts.
In the village there are at least 4 restaurants and a number of hotels within walking distance. The large ski area (150 km. slopes) is within 200 meters walking distance. ski school at 150 meters walking distance. After 10 minutes by car there is a large heated outdoor pool with large sunbathing area. climbing, summer tobogganing, shopping and many restaurants and supermarkets.And in the area is so much to see and to do, you haven't enough time to see or do everything in one vacation.
