Holiday destination
Mittenwald is Germany's highest health resort. The Geigenbauort is in Werdenfelser land 20 kilometers south of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The Alpine World Karwendel a mountain paradise with the most fascinating landscapes in the northern Alps. In healthy altitude 868-1020 meters, attracts a large number of lakes with excellent water quality and clean air to stay. A mecca for cyclists and walkers of any kind does not matter if extreme biker or enjoy cycling whether sport climbers, nordic walkers and ramblers, everybody gets their money. You can as swimming, sailing, surfing, paragliding, horseback riding, canoeing, archery, tennis or golf or horse-drawn carriage driving.
Getting there
With car. from Munich - A-95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen - B 2 direction Innsbruck - leave Mittenwald North - after the city sign turn to the Mühlfeldstraße. Follow the street Tiefkarstraße. At the end of the street turn left to the Dammkarstraße. Opposite Fahrrad Frank cross the bridge and turn at the end to the left side. Follow the street until Haus Erli. You will find House Erli on the left side. With train: Munich - Mittenwald (also ICE Connections available). Innsbruck - Mittenwald (also ICE Connections available). airports: Innsbruck about 38 km Munich about 140 km

Leider hat uns diese Ferienwohnung nicht gefallen, die Bilder sind wohl mindestens 20 Jahre alt. Alles ist ziemlich abgewohnt, die Terrassenmöbel kaputt, die Bäder sind winzig klein. In den Waschbecken kann man nicht einmal ein T-Shirt durchwaschen geschweige denn, sich die Haare waschen. Was mich am meisten gestört hat, war der Geruch. Es riecht in der Wohnung sehr muffig, vor allem im Schlafzimmer gleich vorn rechts. Die große Terrasse konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, weil es von Wespen gewimmelt hat. Auch die Ausstattung in der Küche lässt zu wünschen übrig, die Pfanne ist sehr alt und die Beschichtung nicht mehr in Ordnung. Die Gastgeber waren nicht zu erreichen bzw. haben sich nicht zurück gemeldet. Einen Pluspunkt gibt es, weil wir schon vor 15 Uhr am Anreisetag in die Wohnung konnten.
