The above mentioned leisure facilities are partly, on site, such as hiking, bird watching, mountain biking, Nordic walking and jogging.
The other sights are a few kilometers from Esthal.
Speyer, Neustadt, Bad Dürkheim also beautiful Heidelberg and Schwetzingen are worth a trip.
In the charming, unspoiled natural landscape of the Palatinate Forest invite magnificent mixed forest, a diverse animal and plant world and traditional History of the visitors. Esthal and the surrounding area has beautiful, approximately 150 km hiking trails as well as walkways. In addition the woodland offers a great area for mountain bikers. From the A65 exit Neustadt an der Weinstrasse:
Through Neustadt direction Kaiserslautern, after Lambrecht direction Elmsteiner valley turn right and after the village pass Frankeneck, turn right and drive 5 km through the forest to Esthal.
At the entrance to the Village, take the first street on the right, before the first fork, continue on the left to Haus Kroschl, Michelsbergstr. 17Next to the house is the garage, which is open for you when you arrive.
Motorcyclists require a driving licence for Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, which can be applied for free of charge from the Bad Dürkheim district administration
