Cancellation policy
Cancellation before departure:
Free cancellation 42 days before departure (in writing) and if a replacement tenant is found, 90% of the total rental price must be paid. Decisive is the time of receipt of the declaration of withdrawal by the landlord.
Cancellation after the start of the trip and before the end of the rental period:
There is no entitlement to a refund of the total price or part thereof.
In case of breach of contract by the tenant, the landlord is entitled to terminate the tenancy without notice after a one-time, unsuccessful reminder. The landlord reserves all claims for damages in this case.
It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance.

Holiday destination
In about 2 minutes walk (barefoot if necessary) you reach the south beach.
In about 10 - 15 minutes walk you can reach the tidal country, the pedestrian zone and the north beach with promenade.
Within walking distance is the shopping center "markant", a bakery, and bike rental.
In the immediate vicinity of the apartment is another recreation area - Greune Stee.
Getting there
The crossing to Borkum is possible both by ferry from the outer harbour in Emden (approx. 2h15min) and from the Dutch Eemshaven (approx. 50min).
The island railway runs with an intermediate stop at the station "Jakob von Dyken Weg" to Borkum station.
If you would like to reach our holiday apartment on foot, please get off at the 1st stop "Jakob-van-Dyken-Weg".

Unser dritter Urlaub in dieser Wohnung war wieder perfekt. Auch bei Regentagen kann man sich in der gemütlichen Wohnung sehr gut erholen. An Sonnentagen haben wir die Nähe zum Strand und den schönen Balkon genossen. Wir kommen wieder.

Auch in unserem zweiten Urlaub in dieser Wohnung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist perfekt und die Ausstattung überdurchschnittlich. Für vier Personen ist ausreichend Platz. Wir kommen wieder :-)
