Holiday destination
Wahlscheid is a district of Lohmar the Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia and is called due to its location in the lower Agger as the "gate to the region."
In the village itself you´ll find several good places to eat within walking distance, supermarkets and cafes (even with delicious breakfast) as well as all transactions in order to meet daily requirements. Upscale restaurants and golf courses are located within a radius of a few kilometers.
With the bus you can reach on foot you can go to Siegburg or Bonn or less than 5 km the railway station and from there to Cologne.
But you can also easily make beautiful walks through the Agger or a bike ride. Have fun.

Silvia & Dieter haben uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und stehen immer für Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, gemütlich, hochwertig und liebevoll ausgestattet und sehr gut aufgeteilt. Auch der Garten ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Wohnung ist in einer ruhigen Wohnlage im beschaulichen Wahlscheid, wo es dennoch fußläufig Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants,Bäcker etc. gibt. Ein wirklich erholsamer Aufenthalt!

Als Besucher der Kölner Messe wollten wir nicht zentral in aller Hektik übernachten. Wir stießen online auf Silvi`s Apartment und buchten, ohne nähere Details zu kennen. Was wir dann erlebten, war eine Überraschung in allen Belangen. Herzlicher Empfang, ein Apartment, das keine Wünsche offen ließ mit einer liebevollen Einrichtung und Dekoration, in dem man sich sofort heimisch fühlte. Ein liebevolles Willkommens-Präsent, eine Sauberkeit, die seinesgleichen sucht, ..., es stimmt einfach absolut alles! Ein echter Tip, auch für Messe-Besucher. Man braucht zur Messe nicht viel länger als wenn man zentral untergebracht ist. Und hat es viel schöner! Vielen Dank für alles.
