Holiday destination
Just in front of us is the longest sandy beach of the island, with its white granite sand that provides the turquoise waters. In the pine forest, there is a playground for the little ones, and a fenced football pitch for the youth. The center is only a 10 min walk (400m) away long the beach. The beach is divided into free zones, and beach resorts. You can easily enjoy walks and reach in 20min two more, secluded coves and cliffs. In the spring you walk through flowering vegetation. Marina di Campo is well connected to the public transport bus network. In 4km away is the impressive "Costa del Sole" with cliffs and coves, which tempt to jump in the crystal clear water.
Getting there
I will send upon request all information. The harbour for Elba is Piombino. There are 4 ferryboat companies who serve the Island from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. During the season, the ferries run every hour. Direct flights (including low cost) to Elba from Germany and Milan (Bergamo). Otherwise, you can find low cost flights to Pisa (Ryanair, Easyjet, Airberlin, AirOne and others) and from there by rental car or shuttle bus (unfortunately quite expensive) or comfortably by train (costs about 10 euros) according to Piombino .

Die Nähe zum Strand und zur Stadt sind einmalig gut. Die sonnige Terrasse mit Blick in's Grüne, auf Strand und Meer ist ein Genuss. Die Wohnung hat für 2 Personen eine gute Größe und Aufteilung. Leider ist im Schlafzimmer muffiger Geruch, der auch durch permanentes Lüften nicht weg ging. Unsere gesamte Wäsche hatte diesen Geruch angenommen. Qualität und Ausstattung der Küche entsprechen nicht einer 'Traumwohnung'. Die Auflagen der Terrassenmöbel sind verschimmelt. Die angebotene Waschmaschine war nicht vorhanden und wurde auch nach Reklamation nicht bereitgestellt. Trotz allem hatten wir einen sonnigen, erholsamen Urlaub mit schönen Wanderungen.

Wir haben uns in den sehr schönen neu renovierten Apartment wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt.Alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Nähe zum Strand war ein Traum für uns als junge Familie. Uns hat es so gut gefallen, dass wir es gleich fürs nächste Jahr wieder gebucht haben und wir freuen uns schon sehr drauf :-)
