The minimum occupancy of the house is six persons. You can rent the house from two nights on: The Brezelhaus is an individual monument and has been restored in collaboration with the local monument protection. Wooden floors and doors, half-timbered gable walls, many old beams and a simple, historical aesthetic make up the special feeling of living. No nick-nacks, but as much authenticity as possible! The photos show the authentic, simple, yet colorful style of living that we strive for.
The building is around 350 years old and different owners added their "signature" to the architectural history of the "Pretzelhouse". We brought out it´s historical spirit again and give our guests the opportunity of a plain and comfortable live style.

The Elbe River Cycling Route passes by a few meters away. A lakeside and a public swimming pool are easy to reach. There are many interesting sites to see around, manors, natural beauty and the river banks of the Elbe are easy to reach by bicycle.
Tangermünde is situated in the historic Altmark region of the North German Plain, on a glacial terminal moraine, above the left shore of the Elbe. The town's name derives from the mouth (German: Mündung) of the Tanger tributary. The altitude protects it from floods.
It´s 200 km from Hannover or Hamburg and only 120 km from Berlin to Tangermünde. The little old town is very close to Stendal. You can reach Tangermünde by train via Stendal, on bicycle traveling on the Elbe cycling track, by boat traveling on the river Elbe or by car via Magdeburg, Wolfsburg or Rathenow. Tangermünde is a stopover on the St. James Way from Brandenburg to Saxony Anhalt.
