Potsdam is worth a visit at any time of year. Sanssouci Park, with its several palaces, most of which are open to visitors, is definitely a must-see. Also worth seeing are the New Garden with Cecilienhof Palace (famous for the Potsdam Conference in 1945) and the Marble Palace, as well as Babelsberg Palace and Park.
Potsdam has a charming city centre, and a stroll through the Dutch Quarter is also a must. The city and its surroundings are well suited for cyclists, steamboat trips or individual boat tours.
Further recommendations: Babelsberg Film Park, the Film Museum, the Alexandrowka settlement, Krongut Bornstedt.
For children: Volkspark with several unusual playgrounds, Biosphere, Experimentarium, climbing park,
swimming in the Babelsberg and Templin outdoor pools and in various lakes, sailing and surfing.
Last but not least, the easy accessibility of Berlin makes a longer stay in Potsdam worthwhile.

Holiday destination
Our house is located in a quiet residential area of Potsdam. The train station, city centre and most sights can be reached from here by public transport, bicycle or car in about 15-30 minutes.
The nearest supermarket, NETTO, is just under 1 km or a 12-minute walk away. There are other shopping facilities, as well as a pharmacy and drugstore, within a radius of 1-2 km. For guests arriving by train or plane, we are happy to lend you one of our bicycles for shopping.
Potsdam is worth a visit at any time of year. You will find some initial suggestions for things to do in the Leisure section. We are happy to help you plan your excursions and sightseeing trips. There is also a wide range of brochures available in the holiday home.
Last but not least, the easy accessibility of Berlin makes a longer stay in Potsdam worthwhile.

Die Küche komplett ausgestattet, Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, die Matratzen hervorragend. Ruhige Lage mit Garten. Angenehme, hilfsbereite Vermieter. Wir bekamen gute Tipps welche Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Umgebung zu finden wären und Ausflugsziele im Umland .Sehr gute Anbindung an Öffis.
Jederzeit zu empfehlen.
