The village is part of the L`estuaire de la Gironde, one of the largest legally protected nature parks in Europe.
The Bordeaux region is climatically part of the South of France ! With a milder climate, it is quite different from rugged Brittany. The endless Atlantic beaches on the Cote Sauvage invite you to lonely beaches. You will also find nudist beaches nearby.
