The Eilts holiday farm is in a quiet, idyllic location, surrounded by our meadows with horses and sheep. On the farm we offer comfortable holiday flats with one, two or three bedrooms for up to eight people. Our holiday flats are suitable for people with allergies, comfortably furnished, and they have a television, dishwasher, radio, oven or microwave. Bedlinen and towels can be made available. The washing machine and dryer can be used against a small fee. Protective equipment for toddlers and a roll delivery service are available.
In and on the farm there is a farm cafe, a communal room, a play room, a large sun terrace, a sunbathing law, a playground, and a straw playground to relax and play. Regular guest and barbecue evenings allow you to quickly get to know other families.
More than 20 ponies and horses of all sizes allow anyone who loves horse-back riding, from the age of 4 years, to spend a holiday with horses.

The surrounding area offers great conditions for cyclists and nature lovers. A well-developed network of cycling routes and our own bike rental give you the option to discover east Friesland on two wheels. Whether you are a jogger, walker, hiker or skater, you will find truly stunning trails along the sea, in the fields or the forest. There are great wellness offers in Bensersiel.
Holtgast is between the most stunning coastal spa towns with lots of tourist attractions, and an extensive programme of events. Ship cruises, visits to the beach, visit playgrounds and bike tours are popular. It goes without saying that you will also find excellent conditions in the healthy air of the North Sea in east Friesland to go hiking, walking, jogging, inline skating, and cycling, and various kinds of water sports.
Via the A1 and the A29 towards Wilhelmshaven, just before then, take a turn towards "Küstenorte" Jever-Wittmund-Esens. Alternatively, via the A 31 until Timmel, from there towards Aurich and Esens.

In the Easter and autumn school holidays, in July and August: minimum number of riding classes (10 / week / holiday flat).
During the holidays we rent out our flats for a period of 1 week, arrival and departure on Saturdays.

Since 1984 we, Traute und Werner Eilts, have been running our farm in Holtgast. What started out as a purely agricultural business became more of a holiday farm over time. We offer guests of the farm and people on a horse-back riding holiday a hospitable place to stay. Since 2015 our daughter Wiebke has been working with us. She is continuing the 30-year-old family business. We hope that you will have a wonderful time with us and that you will feel at home. We will do our utmost!
