In the interior of the island, there are numerous other destinations, such as Piazza Armerina with the world-famous 'Villa del Casale' or Caltagirone with its artistic ceramics. Not to forget the 'Via Mormino Penna' in Scicli, which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. The region is rich in beaches and nature reserves.
Holiday destination
The location is very quiet and well-maintained. Ideal area for walkers and joggers. No car traffic in front of the house. The property is completely fenced. This area of Sicily is very well-known for its wide and long beaches. Due to the mild temperatures (winter average +15 degrees C), one can enjoy the sea all year round.
It's about 4 km to the town center, and approximately 1.6 km to the sandy beach (as the crow flies 700 m).
Getting there
Follow the motorway signs to "Siracusa" and continue on the motorway until "Rosolini". Now follow signs for "Ispica, Pozzallo and Marina di Modica". Drive through the villages of "Sampieri and Cava D'Aliga". After "Cava D'Aliga", at the roundabout, follow the signs towards "Scicli".
Turn left at the intersection towards "Donnalucata".
