Cheese market in Alkmaar, seal station, Texel (by ferry), Workum is very nice for a walk, Amsterdam approx. 100 km, shopping facilities, water sports such as surfing, catamaran, kite surfing, Texel submarine viewing, Harlingen, Sneek and Workum nearby.
A larger sailing port and 2 smaller sailing ports in the village, in the village itself several restaurants, shops to stroll around, a big supermarket for daily shopping well arranged, almost everything you could ever need
Holiday destination
The holiday home is located in the beautiful beach resort in a park on the IJsselmeer, only 30 metres from the sea. Just across the way there is the bathing bay and the jumping off point for surfers. It is just 1 kilometre to the village. Nearby you will find Sneek, Groningen, Amsterdam about 100 km away. Lemmer and Lelystadt are not far away.
Getting there
Coming from Olpe on the A45 towards Dortmund, then on the A2 towards Oberhausen/Arnhem, then straight towards Kampen, then towards Makkum, about 370 km, a good 3.5 hours.

Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderschön und sehr sauber - man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an richtig wohl. Besonders begeistert hat uns die windgeschützte Terrasse und die direkte Strandlage - perfekt, um jede Sonnenstunde genießen zu können.
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr angenehm. Auf unsere Fragen haben wir stets schnell und freundlich eine Antwort erhalten.
Wir waren diesmal mit Freunden dort, aber eines steht fest: Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir als Familie wieder!

Wie schon in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben ist im Haus alles vorhanden,
es gibt sogar ein kleinen Küchenset mit Schwämmen / Trockentüchern und Spülmaschinen Tabs .
Backpapier, Alufolie, Frischhaltefolie findet sich alles in den Schubladen.
Ihr müsst lediglich dinge zum Kochen mitbringen wie Öl, und Gewürze.
Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig.
Wer ein Paar Tage Entspannung in schöner Umgebung genießen möchte, ist hier genau Richtig.
Die komplett geschlossene Terrasse war Ideal für unseren Hund , der zwar die vielen Kaninchen beobachten konnte aber nicht ausbrechen. :-)
Tipps:
für Bootsfreunde im Park hinter der Rezeption, kann man verschiedene Boote und Sportgeräte mieten.
In Makkum gibt's einen Jumbo, Bäcker und Metzger.

Hallo Herr Tillmann,
schön ist es das Sie sich erholen konnten und die Zeit genossen haben.
Danke für die gute Info über den Bootsverleih und auch Fahrradverleih am Eingang des Resorts. Für Gäste sehr interessant, die Z.B angeln möchten oder einfach mal die andere Seite des Parks kennen lernen möchten.
Wir selber lieben diese Auszeiten bei schönen Wetter, es gibt Routen die Sie anhand einer Karte vom Betreiber des Verleihs machen können. Einen Picknickkorb mitzunehmen ist eine schöne Sache, so kann man in einem der Orte eine schöne Pause einlegen. Ihnen alles Gute, wir würden uns freuen, wenn Sie uns nochmal besuchen.
