    Holiday destination
    Falkensee is a family-friendly small town at the western borders of Berlin-Spandau. The vibrant city centres of Berlin (approx. 5 km) and Potsdam (approx. 20 km) are nearby. The 'Schweizerhaus' is a newly furnished, ecological log house surrounded by a eco-garden with 1,800 sqm. The property comprises old trees and a huge lake. The location is quiet, but central. The 'Schweizerhaus' is directly located in the town centre of Falkensee which means that there are various shopping facilities, restaurants etc. The railway station is only 10 minutes away (on foot), the regional train runs every 20 minutes, free park and ride, tram and underground in Berlin-Spandau.
    Getting there
    Falkensee is located at the western border of Berlin-Spandau (4km). Falkensee is easily accessible: By car: There is an exit "Falkensee" from the western Ring-Autobahn in Berlin. Exiting there, it takes another four km to reach 'Schweizerhaus'. By train: Local train station in Falkensee. Trains run every 20 minutes to Berlin. Approx. 5 minutes by ICE train to Berlin Spandau. By plane: Tegel Airport is about 20km away. It costs approx. 20 € to take a taxi to Falkensee (about 20 minutes drive). The new airport in Berlin Schönefeld with express train to Falkensee opens in October 2013.

    Wir waren zum zweiten und sicher nicht zum letzen Mal im Schweizerhaus. Das Haus ist wundervoll mit einem traumhaften schönen Garten und liegt sehr ruhig aber auch nicht weit entfernt zum Bahnhof, von wo aus man in 15 Minuten Berlin ist. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Stil und Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und man kann sich einfach nur wohl fühlen. Die Küche ist nicht nur wunderschön, sondern auch sehr gut ausgestattet , es fehlt an nichts. (vom Kaffeevollautomat bis zum Toaster ist alles vorhanden). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
