Realmente maravilloso. Un apartamento muy especial, único. Desde sus ventanas se puede observar toda la zona antigua. Se accede hasta un punto donde se aparca y luego el resto del camino se hace a pie por calles estrechas y casas antiguas, deja que te sorprenda, es muy especial. La reforma está hecha con buenas calidades y puedes olvidarte del coche pues la calle principal se encuentra a solo 3 minutos bajando por las calles. La casa es confortable, te hace sentir como si fuera la tuya propia, desde el momento que entras y está súperlimpia. En la zona hay números restaurantes y cafeterías. Por último es muy silenciosa y tranquila. Sencillamente maravillosa y muy diferente. Te encantará.

I can honestly say I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb with better views than this. They were simply incredible. The apartment was in the perfect location (just 5 minutes to town) but definitely be prepared to walk some stairs! It was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous master bedroom with work station as well as a modest extra bedroom with two twins. The price & value couldn’t be beat. Both Giancarlo as well as wonderful Italy were very responsive and gave very clear directions on how to arrive & where to park. I would not hesitate to book this property! The views alone are worth every penny.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful appartment overlooking the Duomo di San Pietro. The appartment offers all the comfort needed and is directly above the old part of Modica. A short stroll downhill will take you directly into the heart of the city - the 160 steps, to be precise, also serve as a good justification for a Cannolo at Bonajuto's, which is where you will end after taking the tour downwards ,)This appartment is a perfect starting point for trips both inside and outside Modica.Free parking space can be found a short way uphill - towns such as Syracusa and Noto are about an hour's drive away and both worth the visit. Ragusa is approx. 20mins away and also worth seeing.Highly recommended for anyone planning to see the beautiful town of Modica and its direct vicinity. We really enjoyed our stay,Nina & Max

For me, those two nights in Modica will be a true highlight of the whole week-long Sicily trip. In part because of the gorgeous old city that charmed me from the very first moments, but also in part because of the place we've stayed at. The apartment is simply terrific. Everything from its modern interior, bits of old reclaimed furniture, nice organic toiletries, amazing kitchen, spacious gorgeous bathroom, roof windows and that view... I still vividly remember sitting on that balcony drinking coffee in the morning and beer in the evening, watching how the town below me lives its life. The playful shadows on stairs of San Pietro, mopeds zipping up and down the many narrow streets, the clock on top of the castle hill.. It's hard not to be almost poetic in surroundings like this. You keep finding yourself in a perpetual "carpe diem" loop.The location is so perfect that I couldn't really grasp it. One moment you're enjoying the views from the balcony and in 5min, after walking a few (dozen) flights of steps and making a few (dozen) turns on the narrow streets and you're bang on in front of the San Pietro. Right in the heart of Modica. Mind blowing.TL,DR version: I can sing many more praises to the host and the place, but let's be factual for a second: the apartment is stunning, equipped to the brim (there's even Netflix on the TV, 2 ACs and a myriad of lighting combinations that are mid boggling at times), and is super central. 5min walk and you're on the main street with all the pastries, gelatos and pizzas you can imagine. The place is buzzing until late. Beware that almost no grocery shops are open on Sundays and the closest one to the apartment (10min walk) doesn't even have opening hours on Gmaps. TTC (time-to-croissant) is very short, like 5min :D The guys who are running they show communicate fast and well, give A LOT of hyper local advice and recommendations and are super flexible and understanding (we had a late-ish check-in and they've accommodated for that, thanks Giorgio!). If you're in Modica and especially for a few days, treat yourself to this apartment, you won't regret it! PS if you're into (stray) cats, get ready :)

Had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It’s newly refurbished, clean with one of the best views in Modica. The host (Giancarlo) was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again. 5 stars :)
