Golf: The region surrounding the Baltic Sea resort of Sierksdorf is also a true paradise for golfers. Here you have the difficult choice: in an ambit of about 25 minute drive around the resort Sierksdorf there are 7 different golf courses at your disposal. Some of those are virtually at your doorsteps. Sierksdorf is a perfect origin for that, because the golf complexes are spread in a semi-circle (to the north, west and south) around the resort and are all easily available within a few minutes. The ‘Golfclub Brodauer Mühle’, for example, is only a 10 minute drive away. The 18-whole course with 9 whole small course and driving range is a perfect place for hiking and playing the beauty of the hilly landscape of Ostholstein.
Holiday destination
The Baltic Sea resort Sierksdorf is also called ‘Loge seat at the Baltic Sea’ thanks to its location. Here, you will find among others a kilometres long sea shore with fine sands, a fantastic beach promenade, an impressive cliff line, many hiking and walking paths, as well as a huge and well marked route network for bikes. In Sierksdorf, you will find a good infrastructure, numerous restaurants, and a wide sport and leisure offer for all ages. All the other famous resorts at the Baltic Sea and Luebecker Bay, such as Groemitz, Timmendorfer beach and Travemuende can be reached in a few minutes by car or by bike. The Baltic Sea resorts Haffkrug and Scharbeutz can be reached in a short time and comfortably on foot. Favored excursion destinations are for example the Natural Park Holsteinische Schweiz (‚Switzerland of Holstein’), the Hanseatic cities Luebeck and Hamburg, the port city Kiel, as well as Copenhagen and Malmoe.
BEACH AND RECREATION:
Sierksdorf offers beach as far as the eye can see - and virtually right outside your front door. The sandy Baltic beach is from our apartment quickly and easily in a few minutes. The close proximity to the beach, it is not even necessary to cross a street. The lakeside path leads you through an alley, past a small pond, to the beach. The mostly guarded by DLRG beach is about 5 km long and well maintained. Here children and adults a wonderful bathing in clean water and gently sloping. Baden, build sand castles, diving, playing, surfing, sailing and walking or just relaxing on the beach or in your beach chair are - you have a choice. After relaxing by the beach, it attracts many tourists to the Sierksdorfer cliff, from where you can enjoy a stroll or a long hike, enjoy a magnificent view over the Bay of Lübeck.
YOUR HOLIDAYTOWN SIERKSDORF:
In Ostseebad Sierksdorf - the green city by the sea - you can either spend a beach or spa holiday spending, healthy activity or a social family holiday. There is something for every taste. You have the choice of whether you want it or rather eventful rather quiet and cozy. Here in Sierksdorf where the world is still in order, both are possible. But romantics get their money: where it is next to a 'lively seaside' too quiet and idyllic spot? During a stroll through Sierksdorf you are next to the sumptuous villas and park-like grounds of many prominent (eg, the actor Armin Mueller-Stahl a house in Sierksdorf!) See also ancient alleys, numerous idyllic farmhouses and thatched fishermen's cottages. Here it is still typical North German. This diverse landscape always enthusiastic new holiday guests and inspired famous artists for decades.
CULTURE AND ENTERTAINMENT:
Holidays in and around Sierksdorf i.e. Vacation at the beach and in nature - in a particularly charming landscape. Div. Sports such as surfing, golf, tours, horseback riding and water skiing make for an exciting activity holiday. In bad weather, give rise to numerous cultural events boredom. Particularly interesting are the Banana Museum, Good Sierhagen with courtyard and Gutsgärtnerei, the manor Hasselburg, with baroque castle of 1280, as well as a studio. In addition, during the year in Sierksdorf find various events such as Craft market, children's programs, Kunstausstell., Concerts, cabaret shows, yoga classes and Nordic walking meetings, and special graphics & Malwochen instead. In the direct vicinity you will also find other interesting destinations as a large farmer's market, donkey park, aquarium, Baltic Sea spa, bird park, glassblowing and a 5-lake trip.
IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS AND EXCURSIONS:
Since the Baltic Sierksdorf lies roughly in the middle of the Bay of Lübeck, it has stimulated a great central location very well for trips to the other nearby neighboring seaside resorts such Scharbeutz Timmendorfer beach, Grömitz and Travemünde or the surrounding area. A very popular destination for holidaymakers also only about 15 minutes away and the natural park "Holstein Switzerland" is. With over 200 lakes, vast forests and a varied hilly landscape of the approximately 72,000-acre park is the largest nature park in Schleswig-Holstein and with hikers and cyclists is very popular. For many tourists it is an ideal alternative program to a beach vacation. Other popular destinations include the medieval "marzipan city" Lübeck the Holsten Gate, the city of Hamburg. HANSA-PARK:
In addition to the long beach, the coast and the hinterland Sierksdorfer certainly the famous Hansa Park is a major attraction in the area. He is Germany's only seaside amusement park and is located exactly where North Germany's best, the air tastes of salt and the seagulls circling over fishing boats - in Sierksdorf on the Baltic coast of the Bay of Lübeck. Hansa Park is loud numerous tests the second best theme park in Germany. Altogether there are 11 different themes, flowers and exotic flowers of all kinds, over 125 attractions, many different shows and a water circus with lions and a jungle theater with parrot show. Additionally, it is the largest and most successful vaudeville theater in the north. Enjoy a day at the Hansa Park - the reach of our Apartment on foot in about 10 minutes - and make your children happy or get yourself back to your own childhood!
Getting there
All known seaside resorts such as the Bay of Lübeck Grömitz Timmendorfer beach and Travemünde is just a few minutes. The seaside resorts and Haffkrug Scharbeutz you can in the shortest time to reach even on foot.
Travelling by car to Ostseebad Sierksdorf: A1 to exit Eutin, then about 5 km to the K45 Sierksdorf.
Travelling by train from Ostseebad: Small regional train station directly in Sierksdorf (incidentally good rail connections for trips to Lübeck and Hamburg!).

Leider muss ich für eine 4Sterne Wohnung in dem Preissegment Abstriche machen. Die Sofas waren total durchgesessen. Die Matratze im Nebenzimmer ebenfalls. Die Fernseher waren uralt. Der TV im Schlafzimmer war ein Witz (Mini). Aber der Oberhammer war, dass es nur eine Fernbedienung für 2 TV gab.
Außerdem bin ich der Meinung, dass heutzutage Smart TV Standard ist. Toll war der Massagesessel, den ich auch brauchte bei den Sofas. Positiv war die Sauberkeit, der Service vor Ort, die Ausstattung von Bad und Küche, sowie Balkon und Wintergarten und die fantastische Aussicht. Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub, sind jedoch schon Freitag Abend statt Samstag Morgen zurück gefahren, da wir unseren Rücken nicht noch einen Abend/Nacht an tuen wollten. Daher gebe ich nur 3 von 5 Punkten.

Alle positiven Bewertungen können wir in vollem Umfang bestätigen. Alles hat gepasst. Wohnung, Umgebung, gute Ausstattung, Matratzen......etc. Diese Wohnung ist einfach so klasse , dass wir gleich an dem Tag als wir wieder zu Hause waren für Sommer 2025 gebucht haben. Das sagt wohl mehr als weitere Worte. Es wird schwierig diese Wohnung zu toppen.
