Visit cinemas, theatres, galleries, as well as the historical centre (with marketplace, Bremen Town Musicians, city hall, Schütting, Böttcherstrasse, cathedral and Schnoor). Relax in the nearby swimming-pool or take a walk along the river Weser! Bremerhaven with its zoo by the sea, emigrant- and climate house are worth visiting.
Holiday destination
Our holiday apartment is situated in a quiet byroad in the nice Bremen "river quarter". Just round the corner, Pappelstrasse, our shopping street... or better "promenade" with a variety of shops. Supermarkets, bakeries, delicatessen stores, health food store, (ice) cafés, restaurants, flower shops, bookshop, hairdressers etc. ... there is a small weekly market as well. Stops for tram and bus are almost in front of the house. You can reach the city centre comfortably by foot.
Getting there
By train: From main station take tram line 6 (in the direction of airport), get off at Gastfeldstrasse. Then go right in Pappelstrasse and on the opposite side of the street in "Bachstrasse" . By airplane: From the airport take tram line 6 (in the direction of university), get off at Gastfeldstrasse. From there go in "Pappelstrasse" and on the left in "Bachstrasse"

Wunderschöne sehr zentrale Wohnung. Der kleine wunderschöne Garten, lädt bei schönen Wetter zum verweilen ein. Alles fußläufig zu erreichen, die Innenstadt, Weser und das Wahrzeichen (Bremer Stadtmusikanten). Bei Ankunft wurden wir sehr nett empfangen. Vielen Dank noch für die Verpflegung bei Ankunft ( Obst, Wasser usw. ) auch ein Blumenstrauß stand auf dem Tisch.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Kurzurlaub in Bremen und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts, besser geht es nicht. Blumen, ein leckerer Obstkorb, Kaffee, Tee, Milch und vieles mehr fanden wir zum Start in den ersten Urlaubstag vor- einfach klasse. Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleiner Seitenstraße, es ist herrlich ruhig. Wir haben nette Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe gefunden. Die Bremer Innenstadt erreicht man locker zu Fuß oder mit der Bahn. Weiter gelegene Stadtviertel kam man ebenfalls gut mit Bahn/Bus erreichen. Das Auto haben wir einfach stehen gelassen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank!
