Bad Bleiberg is situated in Carinthia, close to the border of Austria, Slovenia and Italy, in a picturesque natural landscape at 920 m above sea level between the Dobratsch and Erzberg mountains. The village also offers numerous activities, an outdoor skating rink in winter, a cross-country skiing track and a small sledding hill. In summer, there are numerous hiking trails, both longer and shorter. All year round you can visit the mine, which has been turned into a museum, and the Friedrich healing climate mine, where therapy is provided for respiratory and asthma patients (also recommended for children). Our house is an excellent starting point to reach the great hiking trails, skiing areas, Carinthian lakes, Villach, Klagenfurt, Slovenia and Italy.
