Holiday destination
You'll find three national parks in the area surrounding Sveti Filip i Jakov: Paklenica canyon (70 km), the Krka falls (45 km) and the Kornati archipelago (150 islands, 18 km).
The Plitvice lakes can also be reached by car in around 1.5 hours (150 km).
As well as these famous national parks, you'll also find three nature parks in the nearby area:
Lake Vrana (9km) is the largest freshwater lake in the entire Adriatic region.
Telašćica bay on the island of Dugi Otok is around 14 nautical miles away and is famous for its impressive cliffs and its Silver lake.
The majestic Velebit mountains rise up into the sky around 50 km away. You can even see the Italian coast (around 200 km away) from their peaks on a clear day.
Getting there
Please take the motorway towards Zagreb-Split, take the "Zadar II" exit and then drive towards Biograd n/m (Biograd na Moru). You'll reach the village of Sveti Filip i Jakov around 3km before Biograd.
Turn towards the centre (a right turn if you're coming from the direction of Zadar and a left turn if you're coming from the direction of Biograd). Take a left turn past the sports ground and then take an immediate right past the church. Follow the street and you'll see the Villa Mare on your left-hand side after around 600 metres.
You can travel to Zadar airport (23 km) or Split airport (110 km) if you want to travel by air. Transfers from Zadar and Split airports are possible by prior arrangement.

Unser Urlaub in dieser tollen Fewohnung war einfach nur schön. Wir wurden am Flughafen so herzlich von Herrn Paul empfangen und fühlten uns gleich heimisch. Die Wohnung 2.E. und der Blick aufs Meer...... einfach genial. Du stehst morgens auf, und hast so einen tollen Ausblick.. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Hell, freundlich und sauber. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Sehr, sehr Gastfreundlich, zuvorkommend, und immer nette verbindliche Gespräche. Es gab leckeren Wein, Gastgeschenke u. haben tolle Tips bekommen. Wenige Meter u. wir waren am Wasser, Promenade, Hafen, Restaurants, Einkäufe, alles vor Ort. Wir können die Wohnung wärmstens weiter empfehlen und möchten uns noch einmal auf diesem Wege bei Herrn Prpic (Paul) u. seiner lieben Frau bedanken. Sveti Filip immer eine Reise wert.

Die Ferienwohnung im 1. OG ist schön groß, besitzt zwei Bäder und einen schönen Ausblick auf das Meer, das man von der großen Terrasse aus genießen kann.
Die Gastgeber sind wahnsinnig freundlich, herzlich und unheimlich hilfsbereit. Auch wir wurden reich beschenkt und durften die eigenen Trauben genießen und das Olivenöl der Olivenbäume, die im Garten wachsen.
Der Strand ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt und die Umgebung traumhaft schön.
Wir können die Ferienwohnung und das Urlaubsziel sehr empfehlen.
Ganz lieben Dank nochmal für alles.
