Cannobio (approx. 5,100 inhabitants) is a lively town and one of the most important tourist centers on Lake Maggiore. This picturesque place has very ancient origins, with its history reflected in the "Palazzi" of different eras. The beautiful lakeside promenade with the old harbor and its multitude of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars invites you to linger and relax. Particularly attractive is the public beach with its spacious lawn (grass and sand), where you can find shade under the trees in the summer; this beach is wonderfully suitable for children.
