For all of the history lovers, definitely check out the ruins of the old Greek military fortress on the hill of St. Damian in Barbat. Park-forest Komrcar is great for a walk during a hot summer day, as the tall trees provide the much needed shade.
Holiday destination
Rab is an island situated in a Kvarner bay, the biggest bay in the Adriatic sea. The island has been inhabited since ancient times, due to the many springs of drinking water which can be found all around the island Rab is the island with the most sandy beaches in Croatia, and it is a perfect for families with small children who are seeking their own little oasis.
Getting there
The Island Rab is very well connected to the mainland by a ferry. The ferry Stinica - Misnjak sails every hour, and you can also bring your car. Once you get to the island, the easiest way to get around is by a car to the island. You can also travel between the villages on the island by a bus.
