Holiday destination

Alcalá is located in the west of the sunny island of Tenerife. It is a fishing town with narrow streets, small fishing boats lying on the shore in the harbor, a small sandy bay and a church square. There is a promenade with benches along the bank. From there you have a direct view of the sea and the island of La Gomera. There are banks, all kinds of shops, many cafés and bars as well as restaurants that offer Canarian and South American specialties. A rental car is recommended, but not necessary. Many shops and restaurants are very close to the holiday apartment. There is a bus stop just 100m from the holiday apartment and provides good connections to other towns. There is no mass tourism in Alcalá. You can take a relaxing hike along the coast and reach the neighboring towns of Playa San Juan and Playa de la Arena. Visitors who enjoy water sports have the opportunity to scuba dive and, with a little luck, enjoy the company of sea turtles and dolphins. There is a diving school on site. On the outskirts there is a second, beautifully landscaped beach, Playa de la Alcalá, with sun loungers, parasols and a beach bar. There are other beautiful beaches within a radius of about 3 km, such as the beach in Playa San Juan and Playa de la Arena. Alcalá is a beautiful place to spend a vacation.
