Take a shopping tour in the Getreidegasse, popularly known as "Austria's most beautiful open-air shopping center", or in the Designer Outlet Salzburg and Europark. Treat yourself to a cup of coffee in a coffee house in Salzburg's old town. Thanks to the ideal location of the apartment in Koppl, on the outskirts of Salzburg, at the foot of the Gaisberg and Nockstein mountains, countless possibilities await you! An extensive network of hiking trails opens up right on the apartment's doorstep. Conquer the Nockstein or enjoy the panorama from the top of the Gaisberg. Or have a picnic on a lush green meadow surrounded by beautiful forests and waters.
Getting there
By car: Coming from Munich: Walserberg border crossing - drive towards Vienna - exit Salzburg Nord (exit 288) use the right lane and drive on Salzburger Str./B150 towards Salzburg Zentrum - Salzburger Straße - Vogelweiderstraße - turn left onto Sterneckstraße - after approx. 700 m turn left onto B1 Linzer Bundesstraße - after approx. 500 m turn right onto B158 Wolfgangseebundesstraße (towards Graz, St. Gilgen) after 2.9 km turn slightly right onto "Am Professorfeld". For guests using google maps, we recommend entering "theView2" when coming from Munich. Coming from Vienna: Leave the A1 at the Thalgau exit - towards Hof (approx. 5 km) - turn right at the traffic circle towards Salzburg - after approx. 8.5 km (after the village of Guggenthal) turn right at the traffic lights and drive under the main road and take the road straight ahead. Follow the "S"-shaped road until "Am Professorfeld". For guests using google maps, we recommend entering "Am Professorfeld 4" when coming from Vienna. Coming from Villach: Leave the A 10 at the Hallein exit - at the traffic circle take the first exit - after approx. 300m turn right onto the road - now follow the Wiestal Landesstraße (L 107) for approx. 19 km - turn left onto Wolfgangseestraße towards Salzburg - after approx. 6.5 km (after the village of Guggenthal) turn right at the traffic lights and drive under the main road and take the road straight ahead. Follow the "S"-shaped road until "Am Professorfeld". For guests using google maps, we recommend entering "Am Professorfeld 4" when coming from Villach By train: Salzburg main station: Continue to Guggenthal with the regional bus 150 (Bad Ischl) - get off at Gruberfeldsiedlung. Follow the "S-shaped" road for approx. 800 m (7 minutes) During the week a bus runs approx. every 15 minutes, at weekends and on public holidays approx. every half hour. Professorfeld bus stop. - approx. 150m (3 minutes) from our apartment. From here you can reach Mirabellplatz, which is in the city center, within 13 minutes. Please check the Postbus timetable in advance to avoid waiting times. You can find timetable information here: https://salzburg-verkehr.at/ By plane: Salzburg Airport: Continue with the trolleybus no. 2 to Salzburg main station and from there continue to Guggenthal with the regional bus 150 (Bad Ischl) - get off at Gruberfeldsiedlung. Follow the "S-shaped" road for approx. 800 m (7 minutes) Munich Airport: Continue by train to Salzburg main station and from there to Guggenthal with the regional bus 150 (Bad Ischl) - get off at Professorfeld. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung, nahe dem Gaisberg, dem Fuschlsee und Salzburg. Die Bushaltestelle mit hervorragender Verbindung nach Salzburg ist nur etwa 5-7 Minuten entfernt. Eine 150 kW Ladestation für E-Autos mit vier Ladesäulen ist fast in unmittelbarer Nähe, etwa 2-3 Autominuten entfernt. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch wenn es nicht das Wichtigste ist, möchten wir erwähnen, dass das TV-Gerät sehr groß und von hoher Qualität ist. Zu unserer Freude lief während unseres Urlaubs der Film "Komm, süßer Tod" mit Josef Hader. Wir können die Ferienwohnung auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
