The lake hut "Seehaus" - back to nature and the simple life.
The private sea hut is located in the Rust Bay and can be reached via a wooden footbridge (even without a boat). The reed-covered lake hut is around 38 m² in size and stands on an approximately 100m² wooden plateau directly in the water of Lake Neusiedl.
Overall, the "Seehaus" can be booked for a maximum of 4 people, whereby the space is limited by the tent shape of the roof. Life mostly takes place outdoors anyway.
The "Seehaus" holiday home has a ground floor, separate bedroom with a double bed. The other double bed (with mattresses, for reasons of space there is no full bed with legs and main bed) is romantically located directly under the roof of the hut and can be reached via a ladder. In addition, the bench on the ground floor can be converted into a bed as a 5th bed. The beds in the upper area are not recommended for people with limited mobility.
Glamping - everything is there for a comfortable holiday.
Air conditioning for cooling and heating, a small kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator and a Nespresso machine are available. Toilet with sink are in the cottage. The shower can be found in an extra "bathing house" where there is also a refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. Please note that life in a sea cabin is, despite everything, more like a sailing or camping holiday and that the space in the cabin is quite limited.
If you book such a holiday, you are consciously booking the reduced and simple and not a luxury holiday. The furnishings of the "Seehaus" lake hut are made of solid wood and come from carpenters from Burgenland and the region.
Vacation in the UNESCO World Heritage - in the middle of the reeds
The "Seehaus" chalet is located in the nature reserve and is surrounded by water and reeds. Slow down your everyday life, enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful Pannonian landscape of Lake Neusiedl and find a place of power that will give you new energy. Lake Neusiedl and the old town of Rust are part of the UNESCO World Heritage. With this, UNESCO attributes an "extraordinary value for all of mankind" to the cultural landscape of Lake Neusiedl. Enjoy the peace and nature, Lake Neusiedl and the consciously simple life in the middle of nature right on the water.
