Holiday destination
The holiday island of Vir offers numerous opportunities for swimming, cycling, and hiking. Just beyond the bridge on the mainland is the picturesque Nin, where you can explore the old town or relax in a soothing mud bath. About 25 km away lies the fascinating city of Zadar, which is definitely worth a visit for its historic Roman old town and the Sea Organ. Another recommended day trip, for example, is to the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Getting there
You can arrive directly by car, by plane (Split / Zadar), or by FlixBus (Vir).
From Zadar, you can then travel to the island by rental car or by bus. On request, a private airport transfer from Zadar can also be arranged.
✅ Since the island is connected to the mainland by a large bridge, it is accessible in all weather conditions.

Sehr schöne, toll eingerichtete und bestens gemütliche Ferienwohnung.
Die Lage ist perfekt: die Strandnähe, Lebensmittelgeschäft und Bäckerei sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Sehr nette und freundliche Vermieter.

Sehr schönes, modernes, sauberes und sehr gut ausgestattetes Appartement mit tollem Blick auf die Adria. Klimaanlage vorhanden. Das Gebäude ist sehr schön ruhig gelegen (kein Autolärm o.ä.), der Stand oder in wenigen Minuten erreicht, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in ca 5 min zu Fuß! Große Dachterasse mit eigener Küche vorhanden (die Wärneschutzverglasung ist klasse). An- und Abreise unkompliziert und sehr nett. Alles in allem zwei sehr schöne Wochen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
