Holiday destination
Makkum is around 10 kilometer below the enclosing dike (Afsluitdijk) on the coast of the IJsselmeer in Friesland. You will find tranquility and endless landscape, with cities and village here and there that are worth a visit - and there is a lot of water, of course!
Makkum has always been a fishing village. To this day, there is a small fleet of fishing boats in the harbour of Makkum. In recent years, Makkum has turned into a popular tourist destination. This is because the community invested a lot in its yacht harbour in recent years, in the beach promenade, and the holiday homes and flats. Makkum is a village in the community of Wunseradiel (Wonseradeel).
Getting there
Leave the A7 via the "Makkum" exit.
- Once in Makkum, follow the signs to "Holle Poarte."
- At the third roundabout you will see the villa park to your left.

Das Haus ist super liebevoll eingerichtet und total gepflegt. Die Spielsachen sind super. Man braucht echt nur die Hälfte mitnehmen, weil wirklich alles da ist.
Auch den "Turbboschlumpf" haben wir genutzt. Es sind sogar Schwimmwesten dort. Auch für Kinder. Uns hat es an absolut nichts gefehlt (außer bisschen Wärme draußen, aber der April macht was er will).
Danke für diesen unglaublich erholsamen Urlaub in Ihrem tollen Haus, liebe Familie Eller! Wir kommen definitiv wieder! Absolut zu empfehlen!

Unser Urlaub liegt nun hinter uns .Sehr netter Kontakt mit den Vermietern. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut und gemütlich ausgestattet. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Bei unserer Ankunft stand ein Begrüßungswein für uns bereit.
Der Garten mit eigenem Bootssteg ist ein Traum! Wir haben Stunden dort verbracht mit schwimmen. Das Wetter hat super mitgespielt. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt. Entspannung gab es dann in der Sauna. Diese ist im Preis inbegriffen. Besonders die Kinderausstattung möchte ich hier hervorheben. So mussten wir wenig Spielsachen im Gepäck mitnehmen und trotzdem haben sich unsere Kinder stundenlang mit Spielzeug, Trampolin, Ruderboot und co. beschäftigt.Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir das Haus schon an Freunde weiterempfohlen haben und wir selber gerne noch einmal wiederkommen.
