Holiday destination
The apartment Silvana is located in the peaceful hamlet of Cheglio, a village in the municipality of Trarego Viggiona. A small grocery store, a sports field with a playground, and an excellent Risto-Bar are just a few minutes' walk from the accommodation. Additionally, there are several good restaurants serving typical Italian cuisine less than 2 km away, and an adventure park ideal for children 4 km away. Cheglio is an outstanding starting point for countless unforgettable walks and hikes in nature and the nearby mountains (especially on Monte Carza with its panoramic Big Bench) and for just as many MTB routes. The apartment is only a 10-minute drive from Cannero Riviera, its famous lido, and several bars and restaurants. Cannero can also be reached on foot in about 1 hour via the historic mule track. Bus connection.
Getting there
Access/Parking: Take State Road 34 Lago Maggiore (Locarno, Ascona, Brissago, Cannobio) to Cannero Riviera to pick up the keys. Opposite the Zanetti agency, turn right towards Trarego Viggiona. Continue through the district of Viggiona, staying on the main road. At the Piancavallo/Colle crossroads, continue left towards Trarego, after 100m turn left to park in the public parking lot. Proceed on foot, descend the stairs in front of the church (Via Roma) and at the first fork, turn left into Via Belvedere. After a few meters, you will find your accommodation with house number 22. The apartment is located on the right side of the access terrace.
