The National Park, a paradise for hikers and nature lovers, is crisscrossed by many beautiful river landscapes where one can still swim even in the height of summer.

Saint Ambroix is a medieval small town located 8 km away with a very beautiful weekly market and a tourist office.
In the holiday home Chatibot, you'll find a homemade mini travel guide with excursion recommendations for each cardinal direction, as well as tips for very beautiful swimming spots at the numerous mountain rivers in the area.
Additionally, there are various hiking recommendations and the description of a day trip to perhaps the most beautiful dune beach of the Mediterranean at the western edges of the Camargue.
Nimes (Roman city outside Italy), Montpellier, or Avignon (Papal Palace) can be reached within an hour, and if it happens to rain, why not visit one of the world-famous dripstone caves in the region.

Wir haben uns in der LaMAGNAGNERIE rundum wohl gefühlt. Chatibot ist sehr weitläufig, mit wunderschön gelegenem Pool,Liegen, Sonnenschirmen, Grillplatz, Hängematte, Bouleplatz etc. Herr Gihr liefert auf Wunsch sogar jeden Morgen frische Croissants und Baguette an die Wohnungstür. In der Umgebung gibt es so viel schönes zu entdecken - ein Urlaub reicht dafür nicht, besonders da Herr Gihr sehr viele tolle Ausflugtipps bereithält und sich die Zeit nimmt, einem Wege, Orte etc.. zu empfehlen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und durch die offene Galerie und Dachfenster hell und freundlich. Die zugehörige Terrasse bietet sowohl Schatten als auch Sonne, Liegen, Grill und einen großen Tisch. Ein wirklich großes und herzliches Dankeschön an Herrn Gihr für einen rundum erholsamen und sehr schönen Urlaub!

Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in diesem atmosphärischen Anwesen verbracht und diese in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Landschaft der Cevennen, die Städte und Städtchen, die Strände der Camargue - es war ein wirklich sehr vielseitiger und inspirierender Urlaub; jeder aus unserer Familie hatte seine/ihre persönlichen Highlights. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, auch die Unterstützung und die Tipps des Gastgebers waren wirklich toll!
