Riquwihr and Ribeauvillé is 2 minutes, Colmar, Sélestat and Kaysersberg 15 minutes, Haut-Koenigsbourg 20 minutes, Strasbourg 45 minutes, Basel in Switzerland, Freiburg in Germany and the Black Forest is only a 1 hour drive.

Stay with us in the heart of the Alsace, on the Alsation Wine Road with the most famous romantic mediavial villages such us Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé or Kaysersberg.
Hunawihr is a very quiet romantic village and officially classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France (among only 50 other places in France).
In Hunawihr you will find several excellent winemakers and a natural stork and animal park.
The fortress "Haut Koenigsbourg" and the wonderful cities of Colmar, Strasbourg, Sélestat and Obernai are nearby. And even the Black Forest and the city of Freiburg on the other side of the Rhine in Germany is only a 1hour drive away.

Wir wurden herzlichst von Herrn Klaasen begrüßt und in die Gegebenheiten des Hauses eingeführt. Er erklärte uns alles wissenswerte und auch einige Anekdoten zu dem Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert! Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet, liebevoll und mit Herzblut restauriert! Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Dies war jetzt schon der achte Besuch im sehr schön restaurierten, atmosphärischen und authentischen Haus. Die liebevolle Ausstattung auch im Detail sucht seinesgleichen. Selten eine Ferienwohnung gefunden, in der die Küche so komplett ausgestattet ist.
Dies alles ist nur möglich und nachhaltig, da sich der Vermieter mit Rat und Tat und Empathie um Gäste und Haus kümmert.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
