In the event of a rental withdrawal from the agreed rental contract, the following cancellation fees must be paid by the renter - unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement:
• from the start of the binding rental agreement up to 30 days before arrival: 30% of the net rental price
• from 30 days before arrival: 95% of the net rental price
• "No Show" or termination of the rental during the agreed rental period: 100% of the net rental price

Holiday destination
The town of Porto Valtravaglia, now with approximately 2,500 residents, gained significance in the mid-17th century with the construction of a weaving factory and, most notably, the establishment of two glass factories whose products were internationally valued and mentioned in the same breath as the world-famous Bohemian glass. Since the furnaces had to burn 24 hours a day and work continued throughout the night, the inhabitants were nicknamed "mezarà t," which in the dialect means bat, indicating that the residents of Porto Valtravaglia were as active and industrious at night as bats.
Over the past 60 years, Porto Valtravaglia has transitioned from industry to arts and crafts and tourism. Its location, favored by a mild climate and situated exactly between the two popular and larger towns of Luino and Laveno, is increasingly appreciated, and fortunately, the town has managed to preserve its original charm to this day. From the beautiful lakeside promenade, one can enjoy a wide view of the middle and northern parts of the lake, and with boat connections in all directions, it's convenient to explore Lago Maggiore by water from here. In the hilly hinterland, with its diverse hiking opportunities, there are still some smaller intact villages with old churches and houses that have been stylishly renovated by their new owners.
