Holiday destination
Lake Como offers some of the most striking urban, landscape and architectural gems of the entire Italian peninsula. Among these treasures stands Bellagio, "The pearl of the Lario", a village of just over 3000 inhabitants on the northern end of the Larian Triangle, in which the two branches of the Lake are divided.
Among the most fascinating aspects of this village there are undoubtedly its charming villas, famous all over the world for their splendor and their manicured gardens. To mention some of them, Villa Melzi boasts many works of art and 18 km of paths in its garden, and Villa Serbelloni, today a conference center of the Rockefeller Foundation, features a wonderful garden as well. The old town, with its numerous shops located along narrow streets with steps, passages and arcades, is renowned all over the world and attracts thousands of tourists every year. The territory of Bellagio is vast and varied, you can visit the different lake hamlets such as Borgo di Bellagio, Loppia, San Giovanni and Pescallo, up to the top of Monte San Primo, reachable with a dense network of paths and itineraries for lovers of trekking and nature. Finally, Bellagio is well connected by boat to nearby villages such as Varenna, Lenno, Bellano, Menaggio, Tremezzo and Como.

We were a group of 10 and had a lovely time in Como. The villa and garden are wonderful and the view is undescribable. If you are staying with a large group, this is the place to be.

A beautiful large old home with the most unbelievable and breathtaking view. As a large group we easily fit in this home which is impressively styled and incredibly grand. The best view from any home I’ve ever stayed in, which was wonderful to wake up to each morning. Location is about 10-15 minute drive from Bellagio but right in the centre of Civienna town which was a lovely and very cute little community. Would highly recommend for large groups.
