Peroj is known for olive oil production. Try some traditional Istrian cousine at great restaurants in Peroj or in Fazana, a nearby old fisherman's town. Additonally, you can take a ferry from Fazana's docks and visit National Park Brijuni, an archipelago which is under protection for it's submerged biodiversity. There's a safari and an interactive museum on the island, and the ferry sails every day.
