Holiday destination
Although the villa appears to be in the middle of nature, it is very central. Faro Airport is 20 km away and beautiful beaches can be reached within half an hour. The house is located in an extensive Natura 2000 area with olives, pines, cork oaks and eucalyptus. The villa has 20 solar panels, a solar water heater and a water source with filtered drinking water. The pool is cleaned with magnesium, very good for the skin and anti-allergic. You have a beautiful view of the hills from your pool terrace and there is a large table where you can eat in the shade. The pool loses its sun position from October. Below are 2 more terraces in the woods where you can relax in the hammock, play boules or swing. This nature house is at the end of a small village with a church, shepherd, 2 simple cafes and close to a nature park. You can hike from the house and mountain bikes can be delivered to the house. In 5 minutes you are in São Brás de Alportel with market, supermarkets, restaurants etc.!

Wir waren voller Vorfreude, da wir das allererste Mal an der Algarve unseren Urlaub verbringen wollten. Unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Casa L hat uns so gut gefallen, daß wir bestimmt noch einmal vorbei schauen, sollte Portugal wieder auf unserer Urlaubsliste stehen. Das Apartment wurde mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an Nichts und auch die Gastgeber - Louis & Louise - sind sehr sympathisch. Auch die wunderschönen Strände der Algarve haben es uns angetan. Man muß zwar ein Stückchen mit dem Auto fahren. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. In der direkten Umgebung der Casa L kann man super Wandertouren unternehmen. Allen die in Portugal Ruhe & Entspannung fernab der Touristenpfade suchen, können wir diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Casa L ist einfach ein Traum! Wir haben selten eine so liebevoll und komplett ausgestattete Unterkunft erlebt, es fehlt an nichts, alles da, was man braucht. Die wunderschöne Aussicht vom Pool ist zugleich der Blick auf die nahegelegenen Wandermöglichkeiten, nur die Schuhe anziehen und loswandern. Es ist herrlich ruhig, da etwas außerhalb gelegen. Für Einkäufe und die meisten Restaurants braucht man das Auto schon, aber das hat man doch eh bei einer solchen Reise, um die Gegend zu erkunden. In Sao Bras findet man alles von Supermärkten über Cafés bis hin zu wirklich guten Restaurants. Ein Highlight ist Louises Mappe mit Tipps und Infos für die Gegend, man kann sich sozusagen "durcharbeiten" und erlebt einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Danke an die beiden L's und an Jupp, es war Erholung pur!
