The starting point of the Rothaarsteig hiking and adventure trail is practically right on your doorstep!
In 3 minutes by car you can reach Brilon city center and in 10 minutes you can reach the nearby Willingen ski and recreation area with numerous leisure activities. (Winterberg approx. 20 minutes)
Getting there
Brilon in the Sauerland is basically “RIGHT IN THE HEART” of the republic.
The Willingen ski area can be reached in 10 minutes by car / Winterberg in about 20 minutes.
Arrival is possible by car (motorway connection) ... train (Brilon with its own train station) ... private plane (Brilon airport) or by plane (Paderborn airport 35km // Dortmund airport 90 km).
Well-known CAR RENTAL COMPANIES can be found directly with stations in Brilon (Sixt / Avis).
